meet the teachers
Rosalie Fuerte has been a member of Christ the King School family for almost thirty years; in fact, she herself is a proud Viking alumna! Throughout the years, she has taught Kindergarten, First Grade and currently teaches Third Grade. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Urban Learning from California State University Los Angeles and her Master of Science in Education from Mount St. Mary’s University. She also holds a California Clear Multiple Subject Credential.
Mrs. Rosalie’s career of teaching was never in her thoughts as a child and in fact she worked in the legal field prior to teaching. However, she says that God puts you in the path where you are meant to be, and she is glad she listened and followed the path to becoming a teacher. Rosalie enjoys teaching at the elementary level because it’s the little milestones that students reach that make them smile and make her smile too! She enjoys teaching reading and writing because those subjects can take her students to faraway places without ever leaving their seat! When not teaching, you can find Mrs. Rosalie taking long, leisurely motorcycle rides with her husband and spending time with her three sons (all CKS graduates), her new daughter-in-law, and her beloved dog, Bandit. Rosalie also enjoys working on various DIY projects, decorating her house every holiday and binge watching the Hallmark Channel. |
